A TUTORIAL!?!?!?

I NEVER DO TUTORIAL!
i usually do 5 colors, but on this one i decided to do 3 colors. much easier...
WELL HERE YOU GO...

FIRST STEP:
BASE
the key to using an es base is to not use too much or else u will crease!
you can use ur finger or a flat shader brush.
i used a loew cornell brush!
for this look i decided to use PAINTERLY PP for the brow bone and BLACKTRACK FL for the lid. You can use black eyepencil too if you like. You can also blackground PP for the shimmer shimmerish look!
i like to blend out the black base w/my finger. i find it easier!

SECOND STEP
choose ur transitioning color.
this will go on ur crease!
use a fluffy blending brush!
apply ur transitioning on ur crease and blend it to the black base.
for this look i decided to use CRANBERRY ES, just because it hasn't been used much.
you can pretty much use any color u want.
i love using texture es, rule es, knight divine es, freshwater es, parfait amour es and so on...

THIRD STEP
apply a dark es color on ur lid!
use a good flat shader brush to pack on ur color.
i used CARBON ES! it's a good idea to pick color UP little by little. carbon can be an intense color, so be careful w/it. you can pretty much control how dark AND DRAMATIC you want it to be. click

if black is too much, do use any darker shade of color:
espresso, top hat, club, plumage, smoke n diamond and so on....

4th STEP
choose ur highlight color for the browbone!
you can also use it for ur inner corner!
for this look i used NYLON es and used VANILLA es to tone down the simmer from nylon.

4TH STEP
YOUR LOWER LASH!!!
line you waterline to your lower lash w/black eyeliner and use a small shader/pencil brush to smudge the liner. do pick up some black es to smudge out the liner.
for this look i used CARBON ES, SMOLDER EYE PENCIL and #214 BRUSH (my must brush)

5th STEP
BLEND
with ur fluffy blending brush, blend all harsh line. to achieve the smokey effect, you must blend!!! do the twirl or the swipe motion to blend!!! i do both =)
for this look, i used the MAC 224 to blend everything together and used the MAC 222 brush for the inner corner.

6th STEP
FALSIES
but of course this is always optional

7th STEP
DO ur brows

then clean up any fall out.
do all the foundie, concealer n etc!
for this look i am using desert rose blush and revlon matte ls (i am loving it)

i know most of u ladies are pro at this but this is for my beginner ladies!!this is one of the many ways you can do smokey eyes!!
